AgroSmart / GoFruver — agritech e-commerce, end to end
CTO / Founder · AgroSmart Co (now Emelia Software)
The problem
Colombia's fresh-produce market is fragmented and intermediary-heavy: scattered information, expensive middlemen, and little accessible technology connecting growers and buyers end to end.
The approach
I founded AgroSmart (now Emelia Software) and built GoFruver, a fruit-and-vegetable e-commerce, end to end — state-funded (Fondo Emprender) and grown inside Colombia's innovation ecosystem. I owned the whole loop: product, finance, operations, logistics, and pitching.
Architecture
AWS with Docker, Jenkins and PM2; CI/CD and continuous deployment from day one.
Node.js + Angular with MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB across services.
Integrations: payment gateways (online + cash-on-delivery) and electronic invoicing with accounting software.
The outcome
≈ 1,000 markets sold through the platform.
A working e-commerce with payments and electronic invoicing on AWS.
A deeply integral experience — accounting, finance, sales, ops — and a delivery + DevOps baseline I reused in later projects.
